Dehradun Hills Academy organised a fun-filled programme to celebrate Independence Day on August 15. The students of the schools came together to sing, dance, make and fly kites.
The celebrations started with a short speech by the school Head of Junior School, Mrs Meenakshi Gupta. The teachers used the students’ artwork to add colour to the garden where the flag was hoisted by the junior-most student of the school. The students sang patriotic songs. The students, teachers and parents joined in the celebration by singing together. The school campus reverberated with the rhythm of the patriotic song.
Speaking on behalf of the School Management Mrs Seema Singh motivated the students to become able and dutiful citizens of the Indian motherland and spread the message of world peace. With that, the event came to an end, and everyone started snapping group photos capturing moments and memories together.
Dehradun Hills Academy for the past 2 decades has been ranked among the top schools in Dehradun and has been time and again ranked Most Affordable Boarding School in Dehradun as well. The school is situated on the outskirts of the Doon valley –just 25 mins drive from Dehradun.
