The head of the Israeli Mission in India Dr Maithili Jog arrived at the DDHA campus and was given a warm welcome. She was taken on a tour of the premises after the initial formalities were gone through. The wide-ranging collection of books in the library surprised her and she applauded the commendable work being done by the management. The Tel Aviv University Israel offered wonderful opportunities to aspiring students of India, who wish to pursue a rewarding career. She pointed out that expenses involved were reasonable and that the costs would not exceed rupees 14lacs per annum. The facilities available were comparable to any western university. Although there was a bit of unrest in the Palestinian territories, the Tel Aviv University remains untouched.
As of now, three Indian students were enrolled in the university and two more were expected to join the following year. Her apprehensions regarding DDHA were dispelled after her short visit. She came away highly satisfied with the standard of the school. She observed that education here was on a personalised basis. The welfare of the inmates and scholars occupied top priority as far as the school management was concerned. Our students gave her a warm send off, with an open invitation to come again at her convenience.
