In Dehradun Hills Academy boarding school, the students have presented the opportunity of attending the Kumauni Literary Festival held at The Doon School and our boys grabbed it with both their hands. The audience comprised students from the top institutions of Dehradun. The speakers were some of the most famous poets and authors from across the country. As they sat in the immaculate campus expounding the virtues of good reading and classic literature, the listeners got an insight into the art of storytelling and scriptwriting.
To begin with literature lies at the core of any cultural activity or movement and a nation without a vibrant art and literary foundation would be akin to a body without a soul. No civilisation or culture can stay healthy for long without devoting time and resources towards the development of fine arts and literature.
